Week 5: E-learning(lamborghini)

REFLECTION..
It was not too difficult to so this after I manage to grasp the concept of it. Therefore, i did not take such a long time to finish it. However i did have a hard time with scaling the white and black image which i used to block the number plates. But being a first timer, i am happy with my work.

Week 3( Power Foundation)

REFLECTION...
i took a really long time to complete this video. this was because there were many smaller videos that had to be edited first, to make this final one. I had a lot of problems with masking, and that did consume a lot of my time. The tutorial video was simple, and easy to follow. This made my work easier to complete.
i am satisfied with my final outcome, and i hope to apply these techniques for my project 1 video.

Week 4, Studio B ( Be Water)

Week 4: Studio A( TYPOGRAPHY)

REFLECTION...
I found this video fairly easy to do. I managed to finish this is a short period of time. However, the part where i had to adjust the stroke made me take a longer time. Other than that, i did not have any problems.


I am intending to use his effect for my Project 1 too..

Week 4: Studio B (BE WATER)

REFLECTIONS...
After spending a few hours, i finally completed my video. However, I am having some problems uploading the video now. So, i shall post my reflection first.

I must say that this video was really time consuming, and it definitely was not as easy as i thought it would be. It was a really long process, especially since accuracy was important- the voice, and the words need to sync. I could now however add in the pictures as i could not find the files online. So, the video that i have is the completed work SO FAR. 


I hope that i will be able to upload the video successfully tomorrow!

Logo/Brand ID

• Electronic Arts 
• To show their new logo to people 
• Short and fast paced. Its gets straight to the "point"

Concept Video

• Ducati Motor Holding 
• To show people how the company came up with the Ducati Multistrada 1200 concept 
• Animated with a lot of sketches and drawings. There are also details on the bike. Furthermore, it is not very fast paced, so that people who want to get more information on the bike will be able to understand the concept better. 

Info-graphic

• Joe Golling 
• To show people what kind of motion graphics he can do, what kind of services he can offer, and show samples of the quality of his works. 
• Colourful, looks like pieces of paper have been cut out form magazines, and put together to create this video. It is very creative. 

Instructional

• Mahy Gallery 
• It teaches people about typographic alignments 
• It is simple. The instructions are easy to understand because they were summarised. It was not too colourful, or overwhelming. 

Kinetic Typography

• 'Dark Knight' Movie ( this is not an official video) 
• For entertainment 
• It is simple just like the previous video, with mainly only 2 colours( Black and white used). It has different paces at various parts of the clips to correspond to the sound clip.

• To promote their Café Estima Coffee
• It looks really entertaining. It looks cartoon-like. The information is short and precise. 

Movies

• 'Spider Man' movie (Sony Pictures Entertainment)
• For entertainment, and sharing
• It is very interactive and creative. With the details of a spiderweb correctly displayed. In this basic colours were used too. Fast paced.

Promotional Video

• Anime Box Cafe
• To promote the website
• Features clearly shown. Pictures moving around in a fast pace

Lower Third

• Sky News
• To give people information on the Scottish Palimentary Elections results
• It is constantly being updated with a lot of information

My first 10 Second video!

HELLO!!

Well, this is the first video i ever made using After Effects. I actually had fun creating this. Although i only used the basic effects, i had a hard time completing the video. While creating this video, I was exploring After Effects, and i found a few new features. Overall, i feel that it was fun to do.
