Project 2: REFLECTION

We came up with the idea of a trailer. This is because we wanted to include alot of suspense, especially because trailers include various special effects. We also came up with the idea of a horror film, so that we could have things like a bloody effect, or ghosts disappearing.

i did the part where the girl disappears from the classroom. i saw this tutorial:




i did have some problems with fine-tuning it to make it look more reastic. However after continuously trying, i managed to do it without making it look as though the scene was cut.

I also did the effect where the ghost pops up in the group photo. For this, i had to adjust the opacity of the ghost's face separately, and do layering for the photo, so that the ghost appears behing the girls, and not just infront of  the girls.

Overall, i had alot of fun filming this, and i managed to learn alot more things about after effects during the editing process.

Week 5: E-learning(lamborghini)

REFLECTION..
It was not too difficult to so this after I manage to grasp the concept of it. Therefore, i did not take such a long time to finish it. However i did have a hard time with scaling the white and black image which i used to block the number plates. But being a first timer, i am happy with my work.

Week 3( Power Foundation)

REFLECTION...
i took a really long time to complete this video. this was because there were many smaller videos that had to be edited first, to make this final one. I had a lot of problems with masking, and that did consume a lot of my time. The tutorial video was simple, and easy to follow. This made my work easier to complete.
i am satisfied with my final outcome, and i hope to apply these techniques for my project 1 video.

REFLECTION...
I found this video fairly easy to do. I managed to finish this is a short period of time. However, the part where i had to adjust the stroke made me take a longer time. Other than that, i did not have any problems.


I am intending to use his effect for my Project 1 too..
